Open Road Films has released the first trailer for director David Ayer's (End of Watch) new film Sabotage. Previously referred to as Ten, the film is loosely based on Agatha Christie’s classic mystery Ten Little Indians, as it centers on a DEA task force who heists a drug cartel safe house, only to start getting picked off one-by-one by an unknown assassin. The film actually looks pretty great, as the fantastic ensemble makes for an excitingly hardened team led by Arnold Schwarzenegger, who actually feels like a natural fit for the role of the group's boss/father figure. Intriguing story, talented director, varied and charming ensemble—Sabotage is looking mighty promising.
Hit the jump to watch the trailer. The film stars Joe Manganiello, Sam Worthington, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Max Martini, Josh Holloway, Olivia Williams, and Mireille Enos. Sabotage opens on January 24, 2014.

Here's the official synopsis for Sabotage:
In SABOTAGE Arnold Schwarzengger leads an elite DEA task force that takes on the world’s deadliest drug cartels. When the team successfully executes a high-stakes raid on a cartel safe house, they think their work is done – until, one-by-one, the ten members mysteriously start to be eliminated.
David Ayer's action film Sabotage has been quiet for some time now. It used to be called "Ten", and is loosely based on Agatha Christie’s classic mystery Ten Little Indians, as it centers on a DEA task force who heists a drug cartel safe house, only to start getting picked off one-by-one by an unknown assassin. The movie stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, and now the first images since one was released almost a year ago. The images feature plenty of firearms as well as potentially distracting hairstyles from Schwarzenegger (who is supposed to have a bad haircut so it would look "real", according to USA Today) and co-star Sam Worthington, who's sporting cornrows and going by the name "Monster". The USA Today article also emphasizes the amount of training the stars had to go through in order to bond and cut down on takes for the action scenes.
Hit the jump to check out the images. The film also stars Joe Manganiello, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Max Martini, Josh Holloway, Olivia Williams, and Mireille Enos. Sabotage opens April 11, 2014.

The trailer for Showtime’s 2014 event series Years of Living Dangerously has been released online. The docu-series comes from executive producers James Cameron and Jerry Weintraub and examines the effects of climate change on a global scale with a particular focus on the human impact. Cameron introduces the trailer himself, but I was encouraged to see that the documentary doesn’t just jump right into the effects of climate change, it takes the time to lay out the facts and the “debate” at hand as well. Misinformation leads to ignorance, and it’s important that the audience is aware of the overwhelming facts and science pointing to the effects of climate change before diving into the actual, you know, evidence.
The docu-series will unfold over “six to eight” hourlong episodes, with a number of celebrity correspondents visiting areas all over the world that have been effected by climat change. Notable appearances include Matt Damon, Mark Bittman, Thomas Friedman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Olivia Munn, Don Cheadle, Chris Hayes, Michael C. Hall, and Harrison Ford. Watch the trailer after the jump. Years of Living Dangerously will air on Showtime starting April 2014.
Here’s a list of the docu-series correspondents and their roles in the project:
Jessica Alba (actress, author and co-founder of The Honest Company) follows three Climate Corps fellows as they attempt to green the corporate sector.
Mark Bittman (food journalist, author, and New York Times columnist) shoots two pieces: he explores rising sea levels and the aftermath of Super Storm Sandy, with a focus on Union Beach, New Jersey; and, in an ...
With director Patrick Hughes' The Expendables 3 due August 15, 2014, I'd imagine we're getting close to seeing the first trailer/footage from the film. As most of you know, the next installment has Sylvester Stallone’s Barney Ross and his Expendables crew squaring off against Ross’ old partner Conrad Stonebanks, played by Mel Gibson. Returning for the sequel are Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger, with Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, and Harrison Ford joining the all-star cast along with Kellan Lutz, MMA star Ronda Rousey, welterweight boxing champion Victor Ortiz and Glen Powell. No matter what you think of The Expendables franchise, you have to admit it's a hell of a cast, and one I can't wait to see kicking ass next summer.
So while we wait for the first footage to hit, we were sent a promo poster which you can check out after the jump. It's got the tag line, "Never send a boy to do a man's job."
For more on The Expendables 3, here's all our previous coverage.
No matter how good your Arnold Schwarzenegger impression is, it's never going to be as good as the original. Rather than play his greatest hits over and over again, Schwarzenegger took to reddit to personally deliver some fan-favorite movies lines. We've compiled all of his videos in which he voices classic lines from Predator, Kindergarten Cop, Conan the Barbarian, Jingle All the Way, and his upcoming film, Escape Plan, now playing in theaters. Check them out after the jump.
Escape Plan (2013)
Kindergarten Cop (1990)
Jingle All the Way (1996)
Conan the Barbarian (1982)
Arnold Schwarzenegger must be done with his work on The Expendables 3 because he just tweeted a photo from the set of Maggie. Maggie is a zombie flick that shows great promise based alone on the fact that the script was one featured on the Blacklist (a list of the best unproduced scripts in Hollywood).
The Schwarzenegger pic comes hot on the heels of the Escape Plan clip that was released yesterday featuring his prison fight scene with Sylvester Stallone.
Now, back to Maggie: The zombie film stars Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin as the title character. She is infected by a virus that ever so slowly turns her into a zombie. The action icon is portraying her father and how he deals with his ever-craving flesh daughter will be the crux of the film.
No release date is set for Maggie as of yet, but we’re guessing with filming set to conclude by close of 2013, look for it in 2014.
Summit Entertainment has released the first clip from director Mikael Hafstrom’s actioner Escape Plan, and if you’ve been itching to see Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone square off in a fight, today’s your lucky day. Stallone stars as Ray Breslin, the world’s foremost authority on structural security. Breslin is framed and incarcerated in a prison of his own master design, and must escape in order to find out who framed him and why. Schwarzenegger plays a fellow inmate and accomplice in the jailbreak. In this debut clip, we see the two start a jail fight that appears to be part of their plan. It showcases a healthy blend of comedy that harkens back to the action films of the 1980s and 90s, so hopefully that tone is prevalent throughout the entire film.
Hit the jump to watch the clip and to check out a few new images. The film also stars Jim Caviezel, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Amy Ryan. Escape Plan opens September 27th.
Here’s the official synopsis for Escape Plan:
Escape Plan follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. But all Ray’s ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he’s ever faced: escaping from the master prison of his own design.
Schwarzenegger, in the role of Church, plays a complex inmate with multiple shades of grey. He’s the guy who fights to keep the prisoners from ...
It has long been a little rumor here in Hollywood that the James Cameron-Arnold Schwarzenegger tandem would be re-teaming sooner than later. For those who thought that the man who was The Terminator would be joining the world of Avatar, give yourself a gold star. Rumors are heating up that Schwarzenegger (currently filming The Expendables 3) will be playing the bad guy “human” in Cameron’s long gestating but currently in pre-production Avatar 2.
Schwarzenegger not only worked with Cameron on those Terminator movies, but also produced a blockbuster with him with True Lies.
It would mark the first time these two have joined forces since and honestly, it would be welcomed here from Movie Fanatic. The idea of the classic movie hero in Schwarzenegger being a bad guy in the world of Cameron has us quite excited at the prospect.
The story is still so new, I’d hold off on popping those champagne corks just yet. But, our friends at Latino Review have a pretty good track record of reporting on rumors that turn to fact.
Now, given Cameron’s announcement that the two Avatar sequels would now be three, we’re not sure if Schwarzenegger’s character would continue past this first one.
The Avatar series recently expanded to a quadrilogy plus four novels. First things first: Avatar 2 is scheduled for December 2016, but it's never too early to throw ourselves headfirst into the gray ether of the rumor mill. Sources tell Latino Review that Arnold Schwarzenegger will play a "bad guy human general." It makes enough sense. Schwarzenegger and Cameron made Terminator, Terminator 2, and True Lies together, and could be looking to reunite. The evil military man follows from Stephen Lang's villain in the first movie, Colonel Quaritch. Schwarzenegger's may be the right actor to portray the escalating human threat.
Yet it feels like a stretch. Cameron built an immersive fantasy universe in Avatar free from distracting big-name stars (all due respect to Sigourney Weaver). Casting Schwarzenegger takes the sequels in a different direction. I trust Cameron, so if he wants to cast Schwarzenegger, I can't wait to see how he does it. In three years. We'll keep you busy with plenty more rumors in the next 39 months. Hit the jump for more on the sequels.
Cameron plans to shoot Avatar 2, Avatar 3, and the prequel Avatar 4 simultaneously in 2014 with Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana returning. Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Shane Salerno will collaborate with Cameron on the scripts. Cameron remarked:
“Building upon the world we created with Avatar has been a rare and incredibly rewarding experience. In writing the new films, I’ve come to realize that Avatar’s world, story and characters have become even richer than I anticipated, ...
Arnold Schwarzenegger wants you to know two things: 1) He's having a good time on the set of The Expendables 3; 2) He enjoys smoking his stogies between takes. Schwarzenegger previously sent out a photo of him hanging out with director Patrick Hughes and new co-star Harrison Ford, and today he's used his Instagram to release another set photo. This time, he's being macho with Hughes and Sylvester Stallone. For those unfamiliar with the plot, Stallone's Barney Ross and his Expendables crew squaring off against Ross’ old partner Conrad Stonebanks, played by Mel Gibson.
Hit the jump to check out the image. The film also stars Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Kellan Lutz, Glen Powell, Ronda Rousey, and Victor Ortiz. The Expendables 3 opens in theaters on August 15, 2014.
